Access your account statements

It’s easy to view, save and share your account statements in the ANZ App and Internet Banking. Here’s how.

View, download and print statements

You can access your statements for both open and closed accounts in the ANZ App.

For open accounts

Log in to the ANZ App

Select your account and tap Statements

Tap on a statement to open it

To download or print your statement, tap the share icon at the top right of the screen. Nice one!

For closed accounts (including cancelled credit cards)

Log in to the ANZ App

Tap on  More, then  View statements

Choose the account you want to view the statement for (closed accounts appear at the bottom of the list)

To download or print your statement, tap the share icon at the top right of the screen. Simple!

What if all my accounts are closed?

You can access your statements for both open and closed accounts in ANZ Internet Banking.

For open accounts

Log in to Internet Banking

Select your account

Click  View statements on the left

From the dropdown list, select the account you want to view the statement for

Click Download to open your statement in a new internet browser window

You can download or print your statement by selecting the relevant icon or menu option within your internet browser. Done!

For closed accounts (including cancelled credit cards)

Log in to Internet Banking

Select View statements below your account list

From the dropdown list, select the account you want to view the statement for (closed accounts appear at the bottom of the list)

Click Download to open your statement in a new internet browser window

You can download or print your statement by selecting the relevant icon or menu option within your internet browser. Neat!

Generate a Transaction Report

If your statements don't cover the date range that you need, you can generate a Transaction Report for the last 30, 60, 90 or 120 days. This report is available for most deposit and loan accounts.

Log in to Internet Banking

From the homepage, select the account

Select View statements on the left

Select Get a Transaction Report and follow the prompts.

Tap Support

Tap Message Us and follow the prompts. Too easy!

In some cases, we may ask you to submit the replacement statement request form in Internet Banking.

Order replacement statement in ANZ Internet Banking

Log in to Internet Banking

From the homepage, select the account

Select View statements on the left

Select Order a replacement statement

Complete the form by choosing the account, date range/s and preferred delivery method (you can Add more dates here to enter multiple date ranges)

Select Submit, and you’re all sorted!

Once processed, it can take 3-5 business days to receive your statements by mail, or two business days by email.

Something doesn’t look right on your statement?

You can check the details and dispute a transaction in the ANZ App and Internet Banking.

Export transactions from the last 2 years

(Only available for open accountsdisclaimer)

In ANZ Internet Banking

Log in to Internet Banking

Select your account from the homepage

Click Download at the top of the Transactions tab

Select the Time period

Select a Software package option from the dropdown

Click Download.

Tip: If you don’t have a spreadsheet or accounting software, a CSV file format can be opened with a plain text editor on your computer (such as Notepad).

FAQs

‘Processed’ refers to the date the transaction was processed into your account by ANZ.

‘Transaction Date’ refers to the date the transaction was carried out by the merchant.

Transactions will only appear after the merchant processes them and forwards the details to ANZ for processing.

If you see the error "This account is not eligible to receive online statements", the reason may be:

If you can see your online statements but they don’t open correctly in an internet browser window:

  • Ensure you have the latest version of Adobe Reader installed.
  • Have your pop-up blockers disabled and JavaScript enabled to correctly open your PDF online statements in a new window or tab.
  • Try to export the transactions you wish to see.

Your accounts must be linked to your online banking to see online statements. If you are unable to see any of your accounts, please use the link my accounts function on ANZ Internet Banking (this will take 24-48 hours to take effect), or you can Contact us.

You will lose access to historical online statements if all accounts linked to the ANZ App or Internet Banking are closed. Before closing your accounts, we suggest you:

You may receive a paper statement or notice:

  • Where a credit card linked to your ANZ App or Internet Banking is registered as lost or stolen.
  • Where there is a change to the number of signatories on an eligible account.
  • When an overdraft has been added or removed from an existing deposit account.
  • Where one party has changed the statement delivery preference for an account with multiple account holders.
  • If a particular type of notice has not yet been digitised or is required to be sent by paper for any other reason.
  • If there is a problem with your email address.

In some of these scenarios, your statement preference may also reset back to ‘Paper and online’.

Yes, you can on some account types. Contact us to change the statement frequency.

Online transactions display the most current transactions. This transaction record is not an account statement.

Online statements, on the other hand, are scanned copies of paper statements generated periodically (monthly/bi-monthly/quarterly/half yearly) and are dependant on the statement end date and other legal requirements.

When viewing your statements, the last four digits of the ANZ credit card number used will appear under Card used. This will help you identify which card was used for a particular transaction.

When you choose to receive statements  “Online only”, you are nominating not to receive paper statements for that account. Please note, for users of ANZ Internet Banking for Business the option to switch off paper statements is not available.
