What do you need to get started with Garmin Pay?
No wallet? No phone? No problem! Garmin Pay is a fast, secure and convenient way to pay on the move – whether you’re grabbing a few groceries after a run or getting a bite to eat while out on a bike ride.
Every time you make a purchase, you’re protected with watch-specific card numbers and transaction codes. That means your card number isn't stored on your Garmin smartwatch, on Garmin Pay’s servers or shared with merchants when you pay.
Use Garmin Pay wherever you see the contactless payment logo. So no matter where you’re headed or what you’re shopping for, you can pay on the go without reaching for any cards or cash. And if you report your card as lost or stolen, we’ve got you covered. Your replacement card will automatically update in your Garmin Wallet.
Garmin Pay can be used to make payments around the world, anywhere that your card is accepted. You can even use it to tap on and off public transport in selected spots globally.disclaimer

01. Open the Garmin Connect app on your phone
02. Go to Menu, then Garmin Pay and tap ⋮
03. Select Add card and follow the prompts
Pay with your Garmin smartwatch: Press and hold the action button on the side of your watch. Then tap the Wallet icon (if prompted, enter your Garmin 4-digit PIN code). Next, hold your watch near the payment reader until it vibrates, indicating payment’s been made.
Garmin Pay is a secure way to pay. Your payment details aren’t stored on your Garmin smartwatch and your card information is never shared with merchants. Plus, you authorise all your payments with your unique Garmin 4-digit PIN, which adds an extra layer of protection.
You can set up your Garmin Wallet with multiple ANZ debit cards, credit cards – or both. Add cards to your device and choose which one to make default payments from.
In stores, making a payment with Garmin Pay is quick and easy. Just press and hold the action button on the side of your watch to display the Controls menu. Navigate to the Wallet icon and choose Select. You’ll be prompted to enter your Garmin 4-digit PIN code if it’s been more than 24 hours since you last used your watch to make a purchase – or if you’ve taken your watch off your wrist since then.
When the wallet’s open, your last used card will display. If you want to pay with a different card, just scroll down to the next available card. From there, hold your watch near the payment terminal and wait for it to indicate that your payment’s gone through.
