We all like things a certain way. With the ANZ App and Internet Banking, you can personalise your accounts to make banking more you-friendly. We can show you how.
Renaming your account is like giving it a nickname. It can help you identify the account and what you want to use it for.
Your account’s new nickname will only show in the ANZ App. If you’d like it to appear in ANZ Internet Banking, then you’ll need to update it there, too.

If you've used any restricted words or inappropriate language, your account name won’t change and you’ll be asked to remove those words before you can continue.
Nicknames can be up to 20 characters long and include letters and numbers but shouldn't include special characters or punctuation.
Please note: The account name won’t change in the banks official or legal records.
The new order of your accounts will only show in the ANZ App. If you’d like to reorder your accounts in ANZ Internet Banking, you can do that too.

By linking and delinking your accounts in ANZ Internet Banking, you can display the accounts you want to see and hide the ones you don't.
You can:
If you're delinking an account, it won't show in your accounts lists but you can add it, at any time, by linking it in ANZ Internet Banking.
We suggest that before you delink any accounts from the ANZ App or Internet Banking, ensure you have set your statement preferences to Paper and online. This way you’ll continue receiving statements by mail.
Please note that it can take up to 48 hours for an account to be linked using ANZ Internet Banking.
You’ll receive a response under the Your requests section of Enquiries in Internet Banking within 24-48 hours.
Unfortunately, you can't use the ANZ App to link or delink an account.
If your request is urgent or you don't use ANZ Internet Banking, you can contact us or visit your nearest ANZ branch to link or delink your account.
