This alert is to update you about the rise in phishing attacks and scams involving insurance companies in Singapore.

ANZcover Insurance Pte Ltd (ANZcover) will not be contacting you to offer any insurance products in Singapore and you should not click on any links in any SMS or email communications that appear to be from ANZcover as ANZcover will never ask for your account details, user ID, PIN or OTP over SMS or email communications.

ANZcover is a captive insurer licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and is restricted to carrying on insurance business in Singapore for the purpose of providing insurance to ANZ Group Holdings Limited and Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited and its/their subsidiary companies and related body corporates (together, the ANZ Group).  ANZcover is not permitted under the terms of its licence to provide insurance to any firms outside the ANZ Group or to any individuals in Singapore.

If you are contacted by individuals or firms claiming to be representatives of ANZcover or ANZ Group in Singapore and who are offering an insurance product to you, DO NOT provide your personal data, sensitive banking details or to transfer money to such individuals or firms. You should not respond to these calls or messages and report the incident to the police or via Scamalert (www.scamalert.sg).
