What do I do if I'm having trouble joining?
Joining ANZ Plus normally only takes a few minutes. But if you're having problems, two common issues are not receiving a verification code and a verification delay.
Didn't receive a verification code?
When you open your accounts, you’ll be sent an SMS with a verification code to confirm your mobile number.
Sometimes, an SMS can get delayed due to network issues, but if it hasn't arrived after a short period try entering your mobile number again. If you still don't receive the SMS, try restarting the ANZ Plus app and trying again.
If you’re on an Android device, be sure to check your Spam folder for the missing SMS.
Verification delay
On occasion, it takes us more time to verify an identity. We'll do this between 8am and 10pm AEST/AEDT, 7 days a week, and it typically takes up to an hour. We’ll let you know in the app if there’s a delay.
