ANZ Plus Flex Saver

To be eligible for an ANZ Plus Flex Saver account, you need to hold and continue to hold individual ANZ Plus and ANZ Save accounts.

You also won't be able to open a new ANZ Plus Flex Saver account if you've closed an ANZ Plus Flex Saver account within the last 7 days.

How do I open joint accounts with ANZ Plus?

You can invite your plus one to open Joint ANZ Plus and ANZ Save accounts with you in a few simple steps.

To open and hold joint accounts, you’ll each need to have (and keep) your own individual ANZ Plus and ANZ Save accounts.

When you’re ready to share an invite:

  1. Go to the Profile icon.
  2. Tap on Joint Accounts and follow the prompts.

If you’re accepting an invite, you should find your invitation on the Money tab or by tapping on the Profile icon. To accept your invite, just open it and follow the prompts.

If you're unable to share or accept an invite in the app, you may need to update your ANZ Plus app to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Before you open your accounts

Any money in your joint accounts and any linked activity or features will be accessible by both you and your plus one, so make sure you only open joint accounts with someone you trust.

You can only have Joint ANZ Plus and ANZ Save accounts with one other person, so choose your plus one wisely!

Declining an invite

If you don’t recognise an invitation, or think you’ve been invited by mistake, please:

  1. Open the invite and select Review Invite.
  2. Select Decline Invite or Decline & Report Invite

Looking for a Joint ANZ Plus Flex Saver?

Unfortunately, the ANZ Plus Flex Saver is currently only available as an individual account, so you'll need to ride solo with this one.

Fees, charges and interest rates

There are no monthly account keeping or subscription fees during beta. However, there may be fees on certain transactions, such as using non-ANZ ATMs, money you receive via international money transfers and making overseas transactions (like online shopping or while you travel).

You can check the ANZ Plus and ANZ Save Accounts T&Cs for more information on fees that may apply.

How do I add money to my accounts?

You can use your account details to receive a payment from another bank, or head to an ANZ Smart ATM to deposit cash or an Australian cheque directly into your ANZ Plus or Save account.

You can also create a PayID to receive fast payments to your ANZ Plus account.

Better yet, give your account details to your employer and get your salary paid to your ANZ Plus account.

To view your account details (BSB and account number) go to the Profile icon and tap on Account Details.

Sending money from other ANZ accounts

The easiest way to send money from your other ANZ accounts is via Pay Anyone payments. You can make payments of up to a total of $25,000 a day from the ANZ App to your ANZ Plus or Save account. You will need to use Voice ID to make payments over $1,000.

You can also use Internet Banking to make additional payments of up to $25,000 a day. You’ll need the ANZ Shield app for payments over $10,000.

This means you will be able to pay up to a total of $50,000 from your other ANZ accounts into your ANZ Plus or Save account in a day by spreading your payments across the ANZ App and Internet Banking.

1 We use the effective daily balance of your ANZ Save account at 11:59pm (AEST/AEDT) on the last business day of the month to determine if you've met your monthly savings target. Interest rates are variable and subject to change. See the ‘Earning interest’ section of the ANZ Plus Deposit Account T&Cs for more about what’s included in your balance, how interest is calculated and how we work out if you're eligible for bonus interest.

2 Different interest rates apply to different parts of the effective daily balance of your ANZ Plus Flex Saver account. A higher rate applies for that part of the effective daily balance that is up to $5,000, and a lower rate applies to that part of your effective daily balance that is above $5,000. Interest rates are variable and subject to change. See www.anz.com.au/plus/interest-fees for interest rates.
