How do I register for online access?

If you hold an ANZ Bank account, you can access your super via ANZ Internet banking and the ANZ App. If you can't see your super account, go to settings > link / delink personal account and then enter your member number.

If you don't use ANZ Internet Banking, register via www.anz.com/smartchoiceaccess for separate online access to your ANZ Smart Choice Super account. It only takes a minute or two to get access!

What can I see and do online with my ANZ Smart Choice Super account?

Once you are online you can SEE the following:

  • Your personal details held by the Trustee
  • Account balance
  • Transaction history
  • Investment details including investment mix and performance
  • Insurance details
  • Details of any beneficiaries
  • Access to your annual statement (if applicable).
  • How to make additional contributions to your account (via BPAY)

You can DO the following:

  • Change your current investment mix and/or future contribution strategy
  • Add/change/remove insurance cover
  • Add/change/remove nominated beneficiaries
  • Download your 'Choice of Superannuation Fund' form to provide to your employer
  • See how you're tracking for retirement, with the Retirement Income Calculator
  • Round up your other super accounts into your ANZ Smart Choice account.

How do I log in to my ANZ Smart Choice Super account?

You can access your ANZ Smart Choice Super account online in a way that suits. There are three ways to access your super account:

  1. Via ANZ Internet Banking;
  2. Via ANZ app; and
  3. Directly if you are not an ANZ customer via www.anz.com/smartchoiceaccess

Via ANZ Internet Banking

  1. Go to www.anz.com
  2. Click on the 'log-in' button on the right-hand side (internet banking should be pre-selected from the drop-down list)
  3. A new page will open for you to enter your Customer Registration Number (CRN) and password. If you don't have your CRN, contact 13 33 50

Via the ANZ App

  1. Log in to the ANZ App
  2. Select for you > select super

Logging in directly into your super account

  1. Go to www.anz.com/smartchoiceaccess
  2. Here you will be able to either register for access in less than two minutes or log in if you have already registered

How do I add my ANZ Smart Choice Super account to my existing ANZ Internet Banking?

If you log in to ANZ Internet Banking (or the ANZ App) and can't see your super account, log in to ANZ Internet Banking, go to settings > link / delink personal account and then enter your member number. Alternatively, you can call 13 12 87 and the team will help you through these steps.

How do I consolidate my super?

You can find and consolidate all of your other super accounts in just a few clicks via ANZ Internet Banking and the ANZ App.

To find and consolidate your super:

  1. Get online: Log on to ANZ Internet Banking, the ANZ App or directly via www.anz.com/smartchoiceaccess
  2. Search: Consent to a SuperMatch search
  3. Submit: Select the accounts you would like to consolidate

Consent instructions

You must provide your consent and confirm your identity before we can complete a SuperMatch search. You can provide consent via ANZ Internet Banking, the ANZ App or directly via www.anz.com/smartchoiceaccess.

If you provide consent, we use your TFN to search for your other super accounts using the ATO SuperMatch service. There’s no additional charge for this service and you’ll see your results in just a few seconds. Your consent will be valid for one year.

You can confirm your identity by calling 13 12 87. You can opt out of the service online via ANZ Internet Banking or by calling 13 12 87.

Note: If the ATO‘s SuperMatch service is not available, we will not be able to search for your other super account(s).

How do I update my contact details?

To update your details linked to ANZ Smart Choice Super, please contact the ANZ Smart Choice Super team by calling 13 12 87 weekdays 8.30am to 6.30pm (Sydney/Melbourne time).

How do I check my super balance?

You can check your ANZ Smart Choice Super account balance by logging in to ANZ Internet Banking or the ANZ App. Your ANZ Smart Choice Super account balance will be listed together with your other ANZ accounts, if any.

Alternatively, if you don't hold an ANZ Bank account, you can log into your super account directly via www.anz.com/smartchoiceaccess and your account balance will be on the 'Snapshot' tab.

How can I get a copy of my latest super statement?

  1. Log in to your ANZ Smart Choice Super account by either:
    ANZ Internet Banking and selecting your linked superannuation account; or
    - If you don’t hold an ANZ Bank account, you can log into your super account directly via www.anz.com/smartchoiceaccess
  2. Navigate to the 'Snapshot' home screen (if the screen you are served is a list of your other super accounts, select 'Remind me later')
  3. Click on the 'Transactions' tab. From here, select the 'View transactions' link to bring up a list of your statements and choose the one you want.

Or call us on 13 12 87 and select Option 1, then Option 1.

How do I check how my contributions are invested, and change them?

  1. Log in your ANZ Smart Choice Super account by either:
    ANZ Internet Banking and selecting your linked superannuation account; or
    - If you don't hold an ANZ Bank account, you can log into your super account directly via www.anz.com/smartchoiceaccess
  2. Click on the 'Investments' tab. This page displays how your super balance is invested and how future contributions will be invested
  3. To change your investments, scroll down and click on the blue 'Change my Investment Portfolio' button. Here you can change your investment category (i.e. from 'Lifestage' to 'Choose your own' and vice versa) for your balance and/or future contributions.

How do I make extra contributions to my super?

  1. Log in your ANZ Smart Choice Super account by either:
    ANZ Internet Banking and selecting your linked superannuation account; or
    - If you don’t hold an ANZ Bank account, you can log into your super account directly via www.anz.com/smartchoiceaccess
  2. Click on the 'Manage my account' tab. Then, click on the 'Make extra contributions' link from the left-hand side of the screen for details.

How do I nominate a beneficiary for my ANZ Smart Choice Super account?

  1. Log in your ANZ Smart Choice Super account by either:
    ANZ Internet Banking and selecting your linked superannuation account; or
    - If you don’t hold an ANZ Bank account, you can log into your super account directly via www.anz.com/smartchoiceaccess
  2. Navigate to the 'Snapshot' home screen 'Manage my account' tab and then click on 'Beneficiaries' on the left-hand side 
  3. Click on the blue 'Change' button at the end of the page and enter your beneficiary details.

Or call us on 13 12 87 and select Option 1, then Option 5.

How do I get my employer super contributions paid into my ANZ Smart Choice Super account?

You can direct your employer super contributions to your ANZ Smart Choice Super account once your Super Choice form has been completed, it simply requires emailing or handing to your employer.

  1. Log in your ANZ Smart Choice Super account by either:
    ANZ Internet Banking and selecting your linked superannuation account; or
    - If you don’t hold an ANZ Bank account, you can log into your super account directly via www.anz.com/smartchoiceaccess
  2. Click on the 'Tools & resources' tab. From there, click on 'Forms' on the left-hand side, and then select the 'Notify my employer' option 
  3. Click on the 'Super Choice Form' to download your pre-populated form. Add your payroll number, sign it and hand it to your employer.
