Before you claim

If you need to make a claim on your insurance policy, it's important to start the process as soon as you can. Use this handy checklist before you make your claim and use the contact details below if you need any further support.

  • Have your policy number handy 
  • Review your policy coverage
  • Check how your excess is applied 
  • Gather the date and details of the event that's led to you making a claim 
  • Depending on the claim you're lodging, prepare details of loss or damage you've incurred

 

Home and landlord insurance

Please note: If you have extended the term of your personal loan as a result of a hardship arrangement, your ANZ Loan Protection policy will end on the date specified on your Policy Schedule. This means you will not be covered during the period of your loan extension. However, your policy remains in force, despite the loan extension (and you can lodge a claim) for the original term.

Your cover 

Price reduction on credit card insurance

On 9 June 2020, we reduced the cost of our credit card insurance products. You will see the reduced premium on your monthly credit card statement issued from 9 June 2020. If you have any questions about this change, please call us on 13 16 14.
