The estimated renovation costs include:

• The standard cost of materials and any necessary plant hire to complete the job, researched from suppliers across Australia and updated regularly.

• The cost of labour to complete the job using our charge-out benchmarks for licensed trades, based on reported earnings for each industry. The amount of labour required is detailed by our experienced estimators based on years of industry knowledge.

• A standard builder's margin of 20% and 10% GST.

• Costs are varied according to postcode, using our regional cost factors that allow for different wages rates and material costs across Australia, including island locations.

• Actual costs will vary depending on the builder's experience, level of demand, job complexity, site accessibility and general market conditions.

Estimated renovation costs from Core Logic do not take into account individual design features, site specific conditions, structural conditions and materials, local planning laws or any other regulations. Estimated renovation costs  include an allowance for builder's margins and GST. Estimated renovation costs must not be relied upon as an accurate representation of the costs associated with renovating your property.
