For joint account applications, after ANZ has opened your account, you will need to visit an ANZ branch with all account holders to sign a Joint Account Authority Form. You will not be able to access your joint account until this form is signed.

ANZ Plus is ANZ’s digital banking service available in the new ANZ Plus app.

It comes with an ANZ Plus transaction account and a multi-goal ANZ Save account, and a new-look ANZ Plus Visa Debit Card.

The ANZ Plus app has a range of features to provide more visibility and control of your money and spending.

You can only access ANZ Plus in the ANZ Plus app. You can't access other ANZ accounts in the ANZ Plus app.

Other ANZ bank accounts can be accessed through the ANZ app or Internet Banking, ANZ branches and over the phone.

Deposits
You can make deposits to your account:

  • by depositing cash at any ANZ ATM that accepts such deposits;
  • by transferring funds from your linked ANZ everyday account using ANZ Phone Banking, ANZ Internet Banking or the ANZ App;disclaimer
  • by arranging an electronic transfer to your account with another financial institution;
  • by arranging an electronic transfer from another person’s account with another financial institution (e.g. by arranging to have your salary or other income, such as family allowance and pensions, paid directly to your account); or
  • in any other way we allow.

Withdrawing or transferring money
You may withdraw or transfer money from your account as often as you like, as long as enough funds are available:

  • by transferring funds to your linked ANZ everyday account, or making a BPAY® Payment, through ANZ Phone Banking, ANZ Internet Banking or the ANZ App;disclaimer
  • using ANZ Internet Banking to manage your accounts, pay and transfer money, access online statements and more;
  • by transferring funds to an account with another financial institution;
  • by arranging a direct debit that is credited to another account with us, or another financial institution;
  • in any other way we allow.

For ANZ Online Saver accounts, ANZ Progress Saver accounts, ANZ Premium Cash Management Accounts and ANZ Pensioner Advantage accounts we will work out interest on the balance of your account at the end of each day.

Open your first ANZ Online Saver account and you'll receive an introductory fixed bonus rate of % p.a. for 3 months, on top of the ANZ Online Saver standard variable rate (currently ).  After 3 months, the ANZ Online Saver standard variable rate, applicable at that time, will apply. The introductory fixed bonus rate is only available on the first ANZ Online Saver account opened by customers who have not held an ANZ Online Saver in the last 6 months. In case of joint account holders, the introductory fixed bonus rate offer will only be received if all customers are eligible.
