ANZ Bank New Zealand (ANZ NZ) Chief Risk Officer Grant Knuckey and Managing Director Personal Banking Ben Kelleher will be swapping roles from April 2024.
ANZ NZ Chief Executive Officer Antonia Watson said today that the changes were about creating greater skills across her New Zealand Leadership Team.
“Grant and Ben have had diverse careers. This switching of roles will enable both to continue to develop their careers and further strengthen the New Zealand Leadership Team,” Watson said.
She believed senior leaders should continue to learn because modern businesses required multi-skilled people with adaptable outlooks.
“I’m lucky to have a leadership team prepared to challenge themselves professionally and grow. This change can only strengthen ANZ NZ’s leadership which can only be good for our customers, shareholders, and staff.”
Knuckey has been at ANZ 29 years and Kelleher 11 years.
