A week of change at ANZ

It's been a week of huge change in the lives of all New Zealanders. ANZ New Zealand too has had to alter the way it delivers its services to customers.  Here are some of things we are proud to have achieved in the last week.

ANZers were working remotely with

staff online at our peak.

Working differently meant MyMeeting sessions peaked at

a day.

of our contact centre staff are now working from home. 

Call volumes were up

This week we had 900 frontline staff supporting customers. Our staff are helping 30 times the normal number of customers in hardship.

 

During lockdown we temporarily closed

branches to customers. 

We’ve also identified

amazing branches to help service customers every Wednesday from 9-12.

We announced reductions on interest rates and waived fees on various credit card and personal loan products.

Dropped interest rates on overdrafts and floating business and commercial lending and cut 12 month fixed home loans to our lowest rate ever.

We have

Commercial & Agri staff working from home supporting business customers. 

The UDC team are equipped to work from home and answered

Our staff dealt with rising KiwiSaver queries with calls up

on what is expected at this time of year.
