Tips for creating a card PIN

Things to consider when creating your new card PIN:

  • Your PIN should not be based on information that is easily found such as your personal telephone number, birthday or other personal information, otherwise you may be liable for any loss suffered from an unauthorised transaction.
  • Choose a PIN you'll easily remember as it must be memorised and not recorded anywhere.
  • Avoid using the same PIN across different websites, applications or services, particularity when they relate to different entities.
  • PINs must be kept confidential and should not be shared or revealed to anyone.
