About the bluenotes team

bluenotes is a publication of ANZ's newsroom, a forum for insights, opinion, research and news about the economy, financial services, investment and society, from within ANZ and outside.

Digital media changed the way people consume information, opening new channels for communication and engagement. bluenotes is part of ANZ’s response to this transformation from old to new media.

Building on ANZ’s position as Australia and New Zealand’s international bank, this publication is home to diverse commentary, analysis and stories in text, video, photography and new media.

While the perspectives have been shaped by ANZ’s business strategy and the experience of its management, bluenotes aims to maintain a dialogue that extends beyond the bank.

Now ten years old, the bluenotes team looks forward to continuing a frequent and candid conversation with you about ANZ, the economies and the communities in which we work across Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region.

The views and opinions expressed on bluenotes are those of the author and may not necessarily state or reflect those of ANZ. The editorial team aim to ensure all facts are correct when published but over time some claims may become outdated. Articles are marked with the date of publishing and are current at that date. The editorial team don’t remove articles just because they are outdated but if the factual accuracy of an article needs clarifying please get in touch.

We value feedback from you and encourage you to get in touch with us at bluenotes@anz.com with any thoughts, questions, conversation starters or external contributions.

bluenotes is produced on the land of The Wurundjeri People in the Kulin nation. We pay our respects to the Elders of this land - past, present and emerging.
