By 2030 the size, location and demographics of households globally is set to change.

A recent report by Euromonitor International the future landscape of households shows the way we live is heading toward a large single-dwelling landscape in a densely populated urban environment.

"Households populated by one person are skyrocketing around the world."
Euromonitor International, Market Research

At the same time, future households will be heavily influenced by evolving technology and will become digital-consumption units, creating new opportunities for new services in the technology sector.

The report also highlights an opportunity for property developers, construction companies and financiers to support the booming mortgage and rental market.
