Accessing affordable housing
We're focused on helping improve the availability of suitable and affordable housing options for all Australians and New Zealanders.
We're supporting an increase in the supply of new social and affordable housing into the market; backing new housing models from pilot to scale to support delivery of a housing pipeline; and financing emerging markets such as build-to-rent-to-own, specialist disability accommodation and land lease communities.
We're also working with our community partners to provide housing for people experiencing vulnerability and to help alleviate homelessness.
$10 billion investment
Fund and facilitate $10 billion of investment by 2030 to deliver more affordable, accessible and sustainable homes to buy and rent (Australia/New Zealand). To achieve this target, we will work closely with our customers, supporting innovative models that can be replicated, scaled-up and delivered to market.
Supporting healthier homes
2024 target to help New Zealand homeowners improve the sustainability of their homes and/or reduce their transport emissions through discounted lending of at least NZ$670m in aggregate to at least 16,000 households by the end of 2025.
Funding to alleviate homelessness
ANZ continues to work in partnership with housing and support service providers across the not-for-profit sector to raise awareness, advocate for change and aid in the delivery of better outcomes for those at-risk of homelessness.
