Saver Plus is a financial education and matched savings program developed by ANZ and the Brotherhood of St Laurence in 2003. This 10-month program uses the combined power of goal setting, incentives and personal support to assist eligible participants. 84% of participants are still saving more than 7 years after completing Saver Plusdisclaimer.
Eligible participants who complete the program have their savings matched (up to $500) by ANZ for education-related expenses for themselves or their children.
Saver Plus is available through a range of community agencies around Australia. You may be eligible to participate if you:

Complete the program and ANZ will match your savings, dollar-for-dollar up to $500, toward educational expenses for you or your children.
Develop positive savings habits and set realistic savings goals that work for you.

Determine your eligibility. If eligible, set a goal to save a regular amount of money over 10 months.
Open an ANZ Progress Saver account that has $0 monthly service fee and make regular deposits over ten months towards your savings goal.disclaimer
Learn and share tips and strategies for budgeting and planning for the future by completing the free MoneyMinded financial education workshops with like-minded individuals.
At the end of the program and when you've reached your savings goal, your savings will be matched dollar for dollar (up to $500) to help pay for education-related expenses for you or your child.
Saver Plus was developed by ANZ in partnership with the Brotherhood of St Laurence, and is co-funded by ANZ and the Australian Government Department of Social Services. The program is delivered by community organisations including:

Single mother of two Menuka is a participant in matched funds and financial education program Saver Plus. She’s a big advocate and now she says being able to access the program online throughout this period has enabled her children to sit alongside her and participate in the program too.
“If it had not been for Saver Plus, my kids would have gone months without school. We had to drop back to isolating at home because I have an auto immune disease and my youngest is asthmatic, so we had to stop going to school about three and half weeks before schools closed.”

ANZ Progress Saver pays bonus interest (in addition to the current variable base interest) in respect of a particular month if the set minimum deposit (currently $10) and no withdrawals, fees or charges are processed to the account on or before the last business day of that calendar month, and after the last business day of the previous calendar month. Bonus and base rates are variable and subject to change.
