To register for ANZ Phone Banking you can use either your primary Credit Card, an ANZ Progress Saver card, an ANZ Access Account card or we will provide you with a 9 digit Customer Registration Number. You will receive a 4-7 digit telecode which works in a similar way to your Personal Identification Number (PIN).
To get started on ANZ Phone Banking call 13 13 14 and press 2, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Simply call 13 13 14 and follow the simple voice prompts. When accessing ANZ Phone Banking for the first time you will be asked to change your 4-7 digit telecode to one of your choice.

To be able to access ANZ Phone Banking, you must use a touch tone telephone (or mobile telephone). Most modern phones will be able to access ANZ Phone Banking. One way to tell whether a phone is touch tone is to check the sound it makes:
- touch tone phones make different sounds when different buttons are pressed
- a rotary or pulse phone has the same sound regardless of the buttons pressed

Enquires to ANZ Phone Banking are free of charge apart from the cost of a local telephone call (mobile and overseas calls will be the cost of their call). Normal government and bank fees will continue to apply to value transactions made on accounts.

ANZ Phone Banking can be accessed from anywhere in the world using the International Access Number (for that country), followed by the Australian ISD prefix (61) before the 13 13 14 telephone number or +61 3 9683 9999. International call rates will apply.

No. You can call 13 13 14 from anywhere in Australia for the cost of a local call. If you use a mobile, mobile rates will apply.

You can call the ANZ on 13 13 14 (24 hours a day, seven days a week) and speak to a Customer Service Officer. They will cancel your existing telecode and issue you with a temporary telecode for you to then change to a telecode of your choice when you next use ANZ Phone Banking.

No. When you let us know that your card is lost or stolen, your ANZ Phone Banking Registration will automatically transfer from your old card to your new card.

With your permission, a person who is not a normal signatory to your account can access your accounts through ANZ Phone Banking. You can restrict their access to non-value transactions (like finding out your account balance or ordering a statement) or you can allow that person to have complete access to all the ANZ Phone Banking functions. To arrange this, simply call in at any branch and complete an Authorised User Authority.
