Our Australian employees can make contributions to any of our 25 community partners, including the ANZ Staff Foundation through regular payroll deductions. Teams of employees can also raise funds for local charities as part of the program.
ANZ then matches each employee contribution and team fundraising collection dollar-for-dollar up to $1,000, to a total of $1 million per year.
15% of our employees participated in the program in 2007 and together with ANZ's matched funding, we contributed $1,654,668 to our community partners. The goal for 2008 is to have 15% of ANZ employees participate in Community Giving.
Community Giving offers our charity partners a cost effective method of raising funds. Our employees select which charities they wish to support through an annual survey.
