If you need to transfer further funds to Australia, you simply need to provide your overseas bank with the following details:
- Your Australian bank account name;
- Your Australian bank BSB (branch number) and account number. The BSB is the first six numbers that appear before your account number; and
- Where your account is with ANZ, the Australian ANZ SWIFT Code, which is ANZBAU3M.
We know that leaving your home country doesn't necessarily mean leaving behind all your commitments, and it is likely you'll have to transfer money back either regularly or from time to time.
To transfer funds from your ANZ Australian account to an overseas receiving bank, you will need the following information:
- The overseas bank account name and account number;
- The overseas bank's sort code;
- International Bank Account Number (IBAN) (for European accounts); and
- The SWIFT code for the overseas bank.
You can also find out more information on transferring money to and from Australia from our International payments site.
