Viewing your shares with ANZ E*TRADE
Now that you have registered with ANZ E*TRADE, you may want to consolidate your share portfolio and track its performance via the E*TRADE website. To view your securities via the E*TRADE website, you need to transfer sponsorship of your securities to E*TRADE Australia.
Transferring shares to your ANZ E*TRADE Account
Issuer Sponsored Transfer
If you have issuer sponsored securities, you can transfer them to E*TRADE online. Issuer sponsored securities are generally obtained through floats (an Initial Public Offering) or employee share plans and are usually not purchased through a broker. To use this service you will need to know your ANZ E*TRADE User ID and Password, as well as your Shareholder Reference Number (SRN), which is located on your share holding statement.
Broker Sponsored Transfer
If you have shares sponsored by another broker, you can transfer them to E*TRADE by completing a Chess Sponsorship transfer form. Following this transfer, you will receive paperwork from the share registry regarding your dividend preferences. You can elect to have your dividends credited directly to your ANZ E*TRADE Cash Account. Please note that transferring sponsorship of shares may impact upon dividend preferences that you had previously set up (including participation in dividend reinvestment plans) and you should check to ensure that your election is up to date with the share registry.
